I have not forgotten about this blog at all! All the main things have already been discussed. We still need to think more about where we’re going to go and what we’ll see. We think a cheesy trip to Coney Island needs to happen. Also, Melisser let me know about the free Staten Island faerie, which is nice to take at night there and then right back. You get to see the Statue of Liberty. I have to hope my sea sick bands work! Foodswings in Brooklyn is open late at night, so I guess if we need food late, that’s where we can go!

The subway will be veeeeeeeeery crowded. They come very very often, because there are so many people. They get stuffed to maximum capacity. That could also depend on where you’re going and what time though.

Don’t even bother going to Coney Island. Everything will be closed and it’s REALLY far to get to. Trust me going in May 2009 won’t be worth it.
SI Ferry is lots of fun (and free). Take it at dusk. You won’t get sea sick. The water is very still and the ferry is HUGE. The best 24 hour vegan food is Worijip on 32nd st in Koreatown.
Seriously- for the NY questions ASK MEEE. I’m an official vegan tour guide and I don’t cost a dime.
